Amit Shah Invokes Liberation Day Sentiment In Election Campaign!

The general elections in Telangana are around the corner. The parties are putting intense efforts to impress the voters and leave a strong impression. The BJP which appeared lagging in the race also picked up and intensified its efforts. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also joined the action.

He reached the poll-bound state for the campaign. Amit Shah addressed the Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha in Nalgonda and made some crucial comments. He came down severely on the ruling BRS and Congress and said that they are family parties and cannot do development.

The Union Home Minister made strong promises for the polls including making the BC leader the Chief Minister. He also said that the four percent religious reservation would be removed and would be given to minorities.

Amit Shah also invoked the Telangana statement in the campaign. He said that after coming to power September 17th will be celebrated as Liberation Day officially. This made the crowd give big cheers for the Home Minister.

It is known that BRS and BJP are at loggerheads over celebrating September 17th as the liberation day. Earlier BJP also held celebrations in Hyderabad and Amit Shah graced the celebrations. The party has been questioning BRS which often takes the Telangana sentiment to its sleeves and is not celebrating the occasion.BJP also alleges that BRS is not celebrating the day to appease the AIMIM.

Ahead of the elections, Amit Shah invoked the Liberation sentiment yet again. Let us wait and see what happens next.
