Weather reports say that heavy rains and strong winds are expected in many areas. The officials have decided to keep students safe by closing schools for a few days.
In Krishna district, all government and private schools will remain closed on 27, 28, and 29 October. The district administration is taking this step to avoid any risk to school children. Roads may get flooded, and travelling in such weather is not safe. So, students are asked to stay at home and avoid going outside unless it is necessary.
Along with Krishna district, two more districts, East Godavari and Annamayya, will also have holidays on 27 and 28 October. Authorities in these districts are closely watching the weather situation. If the cyclone becomes stronger and affects more areas, holidays may be announced in additional districts as well. The government is fully alert to handle the situation.
Parents are advised to take proper care of their children during this time. It is important to keep them indoors and safe from heavy winds, rains, and lightning. Power cuts and waterlogging may also occur in some places due to the cyclone. Families should keep emergency items like flashlights, drinking water, and mobile phones charged.
School managements are expected to share further updates with parents. After the weather becomes normal, regular classes will start again. The aim of the government is to ensure the safety of every student.
