Big News: AP Govt To Start Thalliki Vandanam

It has been exactly a year since the formation of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh and this is being marked with a significant government program in the form of Thalliki Vandanam.

It has been officially communicated by the government of Andhra Pradesh that this hallmark program is going to come to implementation very soon and Chief Minister Chandrababu announced the same.

On the occasion of the coalition government completing one year, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has given approval for the launch of the “Talli Ki Vandanam” scheme. This scheme is a part of the government’s “Super Six” promises made during the elections. It will be officially launched tomorrow.

Under this scheme, financial support will be given to mothers of school-going children. Around 67 lakh mothers will benefit from this, and the amount will be directly credited into their bank accounts. A total of ₹8,745 crore will be released under this scheme.

The scheme will cover 67,27,164 students, including those newly admitted into Class 1 and Intermediate First Year. Once the admission process is completed and student details are collected, the funds will be sent to the respective mothers.

The government has also issued a G.O. today with detailed guidelines for the implementation of the scheme. So far, the government has already fulfilled several promises including the pension hike, Anna Canteens, Mega DSC, and Deepam-2. With Talli Ki Vandanam, another promise becomes a reality, showing the government’s strong commitment to welfare and education.
