By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Feb 2025 1:16 PMThe Andhra Pradesh Cabinet convened a high-level meeting today, and it was attended by chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with all of his cabinet ministers. Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan could not take part in the meeting today as he is down with viral fever and spondylitis.
One very interesting thing happened at the cabinet meeting today as chief minister, Chandrababu revealed the list of rankings of the Cabinet ministers in terms of file clearances in their respective departments. This list was compiled based on the number of files cleared between June 12 to the end of December 2024.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t ChandraBabu, deputy CM Pawan Kalyan or IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who came in top three positions on this list.
It is minority welfare minister NMD Farooq who came on the top of the list at 1st position. He reportedly cleared the most number of files in his respective department in the mentioned period.
Chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu came 6th on the list and he is closely followed by Lokesh, who is in 8th position. Deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan came 10th. Surprisingly, all three of these enigmatic politicians came in the latter positions on the list rather than the top three.
That being said, it is understandable that they are ranked lower, considering that they hold some of the most crucial portfolios in the cabinet and their departments require added scrutiny when it comes to file clearance.
Janasena Minister Nadendla Manohar came in the fourth position on this list, and he too has been fairly active in his civil supplies ministry till now.
TDP Minister Vasamsetti Subash, who has been facing significant number of complaints regarding working methodology came last on this list. He was already reprimanded a couple of times by the chief minister, and he could be getting additional feedback now based on this compiled list.
Chandrababu Naidu, then encouraged his cabinet minister to proactively clear more files starting from now. I wanted all of his cabinet ministers to become increasingly active in terms of centralised administration.
