The latest development are suggesting that the Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued a new set of directions with regard to the upcoming local body elections.
It has been confirmed by the Andhra Pradesh High Court that the upcoming local elections must be started within the next six weeks, and this communication was made to the election body and also the government.
It has been confirmed that the reservation for BC community or any other communities for that matter must not go beyond 50% in the electoral roll. This is against the earlier reservation that was announced by the YCP Government regarding 34% reservation for the BC community.
It has also been confirmed in principal that there is no need to wait for the compensation of the SIR procedure that is being held by the election commission.
This categorically confirms that Andhra Pradesh will be entering the electoral battle by the second week of November, and this is upon the order issued by the Andhra Pradesh High Court today.
Considering the fact that Andhra Pradesh has an intense and exciting electoral battle all the time, it has to be seen who would be coming out victorious in the local body election fight that is coming up shortly.
