6 People In Race: Who Will Be AP Assembly Speaker?
As the Cabinet was formed the focus went on to the question of who gets the chance to become the Assembly speaker

The new government took charge recently with the Cabinet taking oath the other day. Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh while 24 others took oath as the Ministers. We might get clarity on the portfolios they get soon.
As the Cabinet was formed the focus went on to the question of who gets the chance to become the Assembly speaker. It is said that as many as six people are in the race for the post and the TDP leadership might take a call on this.
Kalavenkata Rao: The senior leader has been with the TDP for a very long time and even served as the Minister. As he was given a place in the cabinet he is in the race for the Speaker post.
Ayyanna Patrudu: Another former Minister on the list. He was expected to be the Cabinet Minister as per the observers' prediction. But he was ignored in the Cabinet. The MLA earlier said he would not face the next elections indicating his retirement. So he might get an edge.
Kuna Ravi Kumar: The TDP leader won the Amadalavalasa seat by defeating YCP speaker Tammineni Sitaram. With this people say that Ravi Kumar might get a chance as he defeated the Speaker and a winning candidate replacing the Speaker might be a good sight.
Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary: The veteran TDP leader has been in politics and TDP for a very long time. He is the one who opened the account for TDP in the elections and he recorded the first win. Such a senior holding the position might be good is what many say.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju: The former YCP leader troubled the party a lot and got arrested. He was not given the ticket as MP and he contested as MLA. As he can control the house as the Speaker he might get a chance is what a few say.
Dhulipalla Narendra: The firebrand leader was troubled a lot by the YCP. A lot of things happened with the Sangam Dairy and he had to step down at last.
As the six people are in race Chandrababu Naidu might take a call on this soon. So let us wait and see what happens.
