Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is having a tough time with various cases of late. He is facing a few cases which are being probed by the premium agency in AP, CID. In one case he was arrested and sent to prison as well after spending around two months in jail.

Fibernet Case is one of the cases he is facing. An interesting development took place in the case as the next hearing was adjourned to the 17th of next month. Hearing the anticipatory petition Chandrababu filed the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court bench made crucial observations and directed both sides to not make any comments on the case. Both sides alleged that the other side was making comments on the case. In response, the Supreme Court directed the Andhra Pradesh government and Chandrababu Naidu to not talk about the case.

Lawyers representing CID said that Chandrababu Naidu is openly talking about the Fibernet case and sought directives to ask him to not make any comments on this. Chandrababu Naidu’s lawyers countered these claims and said that the AG and CID Chief are making comments on the case by holding press meets.

After hearing the arguments of both sides, the Supreme Court said that both sides should not talk about the case as it is in the purview of the case.

The case deals with the alleged irregularities that took place in the scheme to provide Fibernet to the people in the state in the previous Telugu Desam Party regime.
