Apple is one of the biggest technological companies in the world and the kind of patronage they have amongst the mobile phone audience is beyond ordinary. It is reported that the company is now preparing for a significant change of operations.

It is being established in principal that the upcoming generation of Apple iPhone 18 could be significantly costly than the previous models at the time of the launch.

Apple fans may need to prepare for a much bigger price tag this year as reports suggest the cheapest new iPhone unveiled at Apple’s September 9 event could start at a surprising $1,099.

The reason is that Apple is reportedly delaying the standard iPhone 18 until mid 2027, potentially making the iPhone 18 Pro the least expensive new model announced this September.

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to start at around $1,099, but reports suggest rising memory-chip costs could push the price up by another $100, taking it to $1,199. The iPhone 18 Pro Max could reportedly start at $1,299.

At this rate, it should not be too much of a surprise if the Apple iPhone 18 model is ranging at least ₹90,000 in the Indian market. This is going to be a matter of time before the announcement is made.

Along with that, Apple is also expected to enter the foldable smartphone market, with its first foldable iPhone potentially carrying a price tag above $2,000. This will be the costliest iPhone in the market till now and understandably so as well.

While Apple had been successful in cracking the Indian market due to the economic pricing conditions in the recent past, that might not be the case anymore as a costly line of iPhones are on the way. It is reported that they RAM shortage is going to contribute to these spike in prices.
