iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus
Apple introduced the iPhone 16 series, which includes the standard iPhone 16 and the larger iPhone 16 Plus. In India, prices for the iPhone 16 start at ₹79,900, while the iPhone 16 Plus starts at ₹89,900. Both models offer up to 512GB of storage and come in colors like black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine. Pre-orders begin on September 13, with sales starting on September 20.
The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with Ceramic Shield protection, Dynamic Island, and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The Plus version has a 6.7-inch display. Both models run on the A18 chipset with iOS 18, and feature a 48MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP TrueDepth front camera. They support 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and include a USB Type-C port.
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max
Apple’s flagship models, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, are priced at ₹1,19,900 and ₹1,44,900, respectively. Both phones are powered by the new A18 Pro chip and feature Super Retina XDR OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch screen.
The Pro models come with advanced camera systems, including a 48MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom. These phones also introduce the new Action and Capture buttons for easy camera access.
AirPods 4
The new AirPods 4 come in two versions: one with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and one without. Priced at $129 (approx. ₹11,000) for the non-ANC model and $179 (approx. ₹15,000) for the ANC version, these earbuds will be available from September 20. They feature enhanced sound quality, gesture controls, and support wireless charging.
Apple Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 2
The Apple Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 2 were also announced. The Series 10 starts at $399 (approx. ₹33,000) and features a bright OLED display with rounded corners. It also offers sleep apnea detection. The Watch Ultra 2, available in Black Titanium, is priced at $799 (approx. ₹67,000) and continues its focus on health and performance tracking.
Both watches will be available on September 20.
