Affected iPhone Users To Get Compensation From Apple!
As per the media reports, iPhone users whose devices were affected by the battery gate would get some amount as compensation

Apple is one of the most popular mobile devices in the world and there is a mad rush for the devices. We can see people standing in long queues to get hold of Apple devices. Getting better and better and including new features is the unique selling point (USP) of Apple products and iPhone.
iPhones now have a better battery life and some users have issues with the previous models. Not happy with these issues,a few users moved the court seeking compensation. The issue is called 'batterygate' which goes back to 2017.
As per the media reports, iPhone users whose devices were affected by the battery gate would get some amount as compensation, and users of iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7, or 7 Plus would get the money. The Apple company is expected to start the payments soon.
Back in 2020, Apple announced that it would pay up to $500 million in response to the issue. When everyone felt that the issue would be sorted out, two iPhone users gave a big twist to the case and opposed the settlement and the charges that would be paid under that.
Media reports say that the iPhone users who got affected by this would get around $65 each. However, there is a twist here. Apple users who have already signed up for the applications to get the compensation would get the compensation.
On the other hand, those who have not applied for this still have a chance to avail the offer. To deal with the compensations, a dedicated website was created and the users can check if they are eligible for this or not by mentioning their Apple ID details.
