AP Elections: What Is Polling Percentage In Different Districts?

The polling pattern was a surprise in the elections as voters were allowed to cast votes till midnight as they stood in long Q lines. In some places, the polling lasted till 2 AM. In total, Andhra Pradesh recorded a voting turnout of 80.59 percent. If a 1.2 percent postal ballot is also included then the percentage goes up to 81.79 percent.
If we draw a comparison between the last elections and the recent elections, there was a jump in percentage. The 2019 polling percentage fell short of the 80 percent mark. The final percentage was 79.84 percent. But in 2024 the percentage is 81.79 including the postal ballot.
Some regions saw a big voting percentage while some regions recorded the lowest. Let us have a look at polling percentages across the regions in the state.
