Atchutapuram SEZ Explosion: TDP Puts Blame On YCP!

The ruling TDP had blamed the YCP for this. The grand old party said that it was YCP’s mistake as the safety audit was not made. TDP said this is the reason why 15 continuous incidents took place after the LG Polymers incident.

TDP said that after the LG Polymers incident Jagan said he would do the safety audit with the third party. But that did not happen. The negligence of the previous government is the reason behind the Atchutapuram SEZ incident. The party alleged that the previous leaders took money from the companies which were at fault.

Citing this as the reason the TDP said that the result is 15 incidents happened after the LG Polymers incident.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met the victims at the hospital. He spoke to them and assured them of all the possible support. It is said that the Chief Minister announced Rs 1 crore as ex-gratia for the families of the deceased.

Those who were severely injured would get Rs 50 lakhs while those who sustained small injuries would get Rs 25 lakhs.
