Crores of Indian fans pinned high hopes on India lifting the World Cup trophy this time. But the Australian team poured water on the dreams and added another trophy to its name. While Australia showed its dominance in the World Cup trophy one player shed light on team India's failure. If not for the player Australia's winning chances are few. He is the one who stood as a villain in India's World Cup dream. He is Travis Head.

Travis Head not only spoiled India's dream in the World Cup, but he also did the same in the World Test Championship as well. The shocking thing is that Travis Head injured his hand and many doubted if he could fit into the team or not. He not only became a part of the team but also took his team to a big victory. He played a big role in the Australian skipper lifting the trophy.

In the World Test Championship Australia batted first and managed to score just 76 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Fans predicted that India is in a good position. But Travis Head who came to bat in fifth position made a good partnership with Smith. He did not let the Indian bowlers put pressure on him. With a strike rate of 93.6, he scored 163 runs. With his heroics, Australia scored 469 runs in the first innings. In response, India was restricted to just 296 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, Australia declared innings at 270 setting a big total of 444 runs in front of India. Chasing the big total India was bundled for just 234 runs. He played a crucial role in India not lifting the WTC.

In yesterday's match as well Travis Head stood in front of India's win. Australia started the innings on a good note by starting with a four. Indian bowlers made a comeback and took two quick wickets. Travis Head who came as an opener made sure that no wickets would fall after three wickets. He and Marnus Labuschagne made a good partnership which made Australia's win easy. In both events, he broke the hearts of the Indians.
