However, there are a few [players who had a good stint with the team and Former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is among them. He even got the opportunity to lead the national team for a brief period.

Starting a new phase in his career, he ventured into politics and took the Congress route. He even served as the MP earlier. Now it is said that he is working on his political comeback and reportedly picked a constituency.

As per the media reports, Mohammad Azharuddin reportedly wants to run the elections from the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency. The former cricketer meeting the party workers under the Chai Pe Charcha program created a buzz on whether he wants to run the polls there.

Adding fuel to this, the supporters of former MLA P Vishnuvardhan Reddy and Mohammad Azharuddin indulged in a violent clash and the cops had to intervene. It is shocking to see supporters of the same party fighting.

The ex-cricketer touring the Assembly seat did not go well with the supporters of Congress leader P Vishnuvardhan Reddy reportedly and this led to a fight. P Vishnuvardhan Reddy is the son of celebrated Congress MLA late P Janardhan Reddy (PJR).

It is also said that Azharuddin is taking an active part in the party activities for some time and as part of that, he met the local party leaders.
