Has Balineni got some guarantee from YS Jagan?

It appears Balineni Srinivas Reddy has finally decided to stay on in the YSRCP. This uncle of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sulked all these days over the party and its boss ignoring him. But now it appears that the differences have been ironed out and the issues have been settled. Balineni has now indicated that he will contest on YSRCP ticket from Ongole again.

Ever since, he was dropped from the cabinet and his arch rival Adimulam Suresh was continued as a minister, Balineni remained unhappy. He was also alarmed at the steady rise of his relative YV Subba Reddy within the party. Meanwhile, he wasn’t allowed to meet YS Jagan at the airport when he came to visit the district.

All these have added to his anger. He had resigned from the job of party coordinator in protest. There were even rumours that he was planning to leave the YSRCP and join the TDP. However, it now appears that the party top leadership has sorted out the issues that affect Balineni Srinivas Reddy.

On Tuesday, speaking to mediapersons, he said that he would be the YSRCP candidate from Ongole. This only meant that he has got some kind of a guarantee from YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. This has put an end to the speculation that he would leave the party ahead of the 2024 assembly elections.
