His decision not only increased the political heat in the state but also created more confusion to the alliance episode.
As the elections are just a few months away there is no clarity on how the opposition parties would go to elections. BJP often says that Janasena is its ally and is part of the NDA alliance. At regular intervals, the BJP has been saying the same. Both parties continued their alliance in recent Telangana polls as well.
On the other hand, TDP and Janasena, the newly formed allies are focusing on how to walk together. Leaders from both parties are taking part in the co-ordination meetings.
Janasena being part of an alliance with both parties is creating a lot of confusion on what would happen next and which parties would be in alliance for the upcoming elections.
Recently AP BJP chief Purandeswari met Janasena leader Nadendla Manohar. After the meeting, she said that the party is their ally and the BJP high command will take the final call on the alliance.
Amid this, a new thing has come out which says that the ball is in Narendra Modi’s court. Media reports are abuzz saying that the alliance episode depends on Moid’s decision. What he says might clear the way for the alliance.
Despite its alliance with the BJP, Janasena joined hands with the TDP which raised serious doubts on the ties between BJP and Janasena. If clarity hadn't come on the issue at earlier there would be a lot of troubles. The BJP high command said to have understood this.
On the other hand, the BJP has been trying hard to spread its wings in AP. It needs someone’s support be it TDP or Janasena. So the party wants to get clarity on this and the same is expected to come from none other than Modi.
