Mysterious Deaths Rock Bangkok: What Happened At Grand Hyatt?

Bangkok, which is a major tourist attraction in the world, found itself in the middle of the headlines for a shocking reason. Everyone is talking about the mysterious deaths at a hotel in Bangkok. As many as six people were found dead at the hotel raising many doubts on the reason behind this.

Going into details as many as six people were found dead at the famous Grand Hyatt Erawan. A staff member saw them motionless and informed the management about this. The issue was reported to the cops. They reached the spot to gather information and an investigation is underway.

There were no injuries or other marks on the victims' bodies. The Guardian reported that there are a few doubts about Cyanide usage and the tests found its traces in the cups. Cyanide was found in blood samples of one of the victims too, it said.

No suspicious events or developments have been recorded at the hotel so far as per the media reports. As Cyanide was found in the tea cups a murder-suicide plot is suspected as per The Guardian. One of the victims is believed to have mixed the substance.

However, there is no clarity on this. Though The Guardian reported no official confirmation was made by the officials on this.

As the victims include those who have American Citizenship, the Thai officials are seeking the help of the FBI to gather more information. The investigation is going on from various angles to gather as much information as possible.

Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin had ordered for a probe into the matter to know what had happened. He held a press conference after the issue came to light and assured that the issue would be probed at the earliest.
