Highest Dowry Rate: Shocking Indian City On Top?

Over the last few decades, the Indian authorities and also the social fabric in general has been advising the common public not to indulge in dowry activities. However, several Indian households have been occupied with these antisocial elements even to this day.

Now the latest survey reports are suggesting that there is one shocking Indian city, which is on the top of the list when it comes to the cities with highest registered number of cases of dowry.

According to the latest information presented by the NCRB, which collects and present the data regarding such cases across the Metropolitan cities in India, Bengaluru is on top of the list.

With a total registered cases of 733. It is Bengaluru, which is on the top of the link when it comes to the Metro city with highest number of dowry cases. Bengaluru is often regarded as one of the most advanced cities in India, but that does not reflect in the statistics regarding dowry cases.

Delhi comes second with 607 registered cases, and this is a pretty significant Number as well. Mumbai is third with a total number of registered cases at 587.

Our very own Hyderabad is on the fourth position on the list with 447 registered cases which is a significant number, but not as big as the other metro cities. It is a good thing that Hyderabad is conventionally lower on this list.

But nevertheless, there is this demand and need at the social level for the male families to reduce dependency on such dowry allocations. This is never a good thing for the Indian society, and that is a hard fact.
