Joe Biden Worried About Democracy In The US?

In a few months, the United States will go for the Presidential elections to elect the President. Though this is the process of any nation, what happens in America grabs the attention of the world as the US enjoys the status of big brother among the world nations. Moreover, the US is a superpower nation as well.

The 2024 election is going to be intense as we might see Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden fight yet again. Not just them, a few strong Indian-origin candidates are also in the race for the White House. We can expect some fireworks in the upcoming Presidential elections.

Ahead of the fight the serving US President Joe Biden is concerned about democracy as he fears a possible attack on democracy and its pillars. He said that something dangerous is happening in the US and raised concerns about the extremist movement which won't spare democracy.

Joe Biden came down severely on the Republicans and the MAGA movement. He said that such issues cannot be batted a blind eye and they are not good for democracy.

Joe Biden went on to say that democracies won't die with rifles but die when people remain silent and won't stand up for the threats to democracy.

"We should all remember: democracies don't have to die at the end of a rifle. They can die when people are silent when they fail to stand up or condemn threats to democracy," the US President said.

Joe Biden blasted the Make America Great Again movement and called it an extremist movement. It is known that the movement was used widely by Donald Trump for the 2016 polls. He is expected to do the same and with this Joe Biden slammed the movement. The US President also blasted the Republicans.
