The Telangana High Court has issued the bail to tally Arjun on this matter.
The Telangana High Court has granted interim bail to actor Allu Arjun for limited period, who was arrested in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede incident during the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere. The court emphasized the importance of the fundamental right to life and liberty, regardless of the individual’s profession or public status.
The court expressed concern over the treatment of Allu Arjun, with the bench stating, “It’s actually bothering me. Just because he is an actor, can he be held like this? There are no ingredients in the case that warrant such actions.”
Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a stampede at Sandhya Theatre that claimed the life of a woman and left several injured. The actor’s legal team argued that he was not directly responsible for the incident, citing precedents like the Shah Rukh Khan stampede case.
