The first list of TDP and Janasena was announced the other day. While the list gave clarity on the number of seats the Janasena would seat, the list also attracted severe criticism. Not just the Janasena supporters but a section of common people were also not happy with the seat allocation.

Before the announcement of the seats, many felt that the Janasena would get not less than 30 seats. There is a reason behind this assumption. In the previous election, the Janasena received a good percentage of votes in many seats.

But it came as a big shock as the Janasena was restricted to just 24 seats. Not just that the aspirants from the Janasena faced a big shock with this. On one side the party cadre and supporters are expressing severe dissatisfaction with Janasena restricting itself to the fewer seats.

On the other hand, the aspirants are showing their anger for not getting the ticket. Janasena leader Patamsetti Suryachandra pinned high hopes on getting the Jaggampeta ticket. He is the in-charge of the constituency. The local cadre also felt that he might be announced as the candidate.

But he faced a big shock as he was denied a ticket. Instead, TDP leader Jyothula Nehru was given a ticket. This came as a rude shock to him. In a bid to show his protest, he sat on a hunger strike.

The aspirant sat for the protest at a temple. After the list was announced he burst into tears knowing that he was denied a ticket. He is adamant about getting the ticket. It is now being reported that he is looking at other parties. With no option left, he might join the ruling YSRCP.
