Historic Day: Bill Gates Arriving In Amaravati!

The capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati is preparing for one of its historic days as global entrepreneur and philanthropist Bill Gates is arriving here tomorrow. Here is a look into the story behind the same.

Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft and Chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is scheduled to visit Amaravati tomorrow. His visit has triggered last minute preparations across key routes in the capital region.

Following the instructions of Amaravati Development Corporation Chairperson and Managing Director D Lakshmi Parthasarathi, officials have taken up beautification works along the roads that dignitaries will use during the visit. The focus is mainly on Krishna Karakatta, the Seed Axis Road, and the N 9 roads leading towards the State Secretariat.

Nearly 10 kilometers of road stretch is being repaired and resurfaced to ensure smooth travel. Authorities are also repainting road dividers with fresh and bright colors to enhance the visual appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere for the distinguished guest.

Workers have been deployed on a priority basis to complete the works within a tight deadline. The sudden speed of development activity has drawn attention, with residents noting the rapid transformation of these stretches ahead of the high profile visit.

Officials say the arrangements reflect the importance of the visit and aim to present Amaravati in the best possible light.
