It is already known that the United States and European countries follow this one particular mechanism with regard to payment rollout. Many companies prefer to pay their employees on a bi weekly basis. What this essentially means is that employees in the European and Western countries receive salary twice a month as the company pay them once every two weeks.

For a long time, now, there has been an active debate in the Indian working sectors about the possibility of implementing such a program here in the country. The same was conveyed by Anupam Mittal as he said there is the need to change the payroll system in India.

“Employees should be paid every two weeks on 15th and 30th instead of the British era monthly payout system.” Anupam pointed out on this topic, and he had a very strong opinion to express which aligns with the mindset of the current generation employees as well.

But considering this low processing rate in India, it should be extremely tough for companies to credit salaries twice a month. For now, this is going to be a far-fetched option, and we have to patiently wait and see if this would actually turn off to be the case in the future.

But for now, the entire Indian economic structuring has been revolving around salary being paid monthly, and the EMI also being deducted correspondingly. It would take a lot of effort to change this mechanism now.
