This BJP Leader Is Interested In The Anakapalli Seat?

Ahead of the much-awaited general elections in Andhra Pradesh, the opposition parties gave a big clarity in their approach. Recreating the 2014 scenes the three parties joined hands for alliance. BJP, TDP, and Janasena came under one roof for the alliance. A formal announcement was also made on this.

Even though the BJP joined the force at the last minute, it received a good number of seats given its strength. However, there is no clarity on the candidates who will face the upcoming elections. We are hearing a few names but there is no clarity.

Now it is being said that a former TDP leader who defected to BJP has his eye on the Anakapalli seat. It was earlier reported that he might get the Vizag MP seat. But things have changed now and he is eyeing the Anakapalli seat.

BJP has some ground in the Vizag seat as the party won the seat earlier. With this, many felt that CM Ramesh might contest from the seat. But it is said that the Vizag seat might be allocated to the TDP and hence he is looking at the other options.

The reason behind the doubt is that flexes in the name of CM Ramesh were erected in the Anakapalli seat ahead of the elections. It is being reported that his followers might have erected the flexes to send a message that Anakapalli seat will be elected to him.

There is not much time for the elections and the BJP has no big names who can be candidates. It is said that the BJP is showing more interest in the MP seats than the MLA seats in the state as it wants to come to power at the Centre again.

Considering this, the flexes might have been set up which started a discussion on whether CM Ramesh has his eyes on the Anakapalli seat. We might get a charity on this once the candidates' list is announced.
