BJP Govt To Table Sensation Bill In Parliament?
The ruling BJP came down severely on the opposition Congress and asked what the party had done for the women as far as reservation is concerned.

The special Parliament session kick-started today. The meeting started on an intending note with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the media. Later, he addressed the members of the House in the old Parliament House. He also gave a big speech and remembered the previous Prime Ministers and their services.
With the special sessions starting, a debate has been going on which says that the sensational Women's Reservation Bill might be tabled in the Parliament in a couple of days. Though nothing is confirmed yet, the media reports say the same, and the developments only add fuel to it.
The ruling BJP came down severely on the opposition Congress and asked what the party had done for the women as far as reservation is concerned. The other parties backed the Congress that's a different thing.
Now it is being said that the bill might be tabled on the 20th of this month. Given the strength the BJP has, the bill might be passed. If this happens then the BJP would claim the credit to pass the bill which has had a lot of demand for over a couple of decades.
After coming to power, the Bharatiya Janata Party took a few sensational decisions like scrapping Article 370, Triple talaq, and others. As the Lok Sabha elections are due next year, the BJP wants a strong issue to bank on it. The Women's Reservation Bill might help the party.
On the other hand, the opposition parties have been strongly battling for the bill to be tabled and passed. If the bill is tabled, the saffron party might take the credit for tabling the bill and also not allowing the opposition to target it.
