Brahmin Community Has Its Eye On Vizag MP Seat?

When we talk about the politically strong communities only a few communities flash in our mind as they have been in action for some decades. A few of them are so strong that they even rose to power and almost dominated the political landspace.

A few communities dominate certain regions due to aspects like strong financial position and population size. If we talk about the Vizag MP seat Kapu and BC communities are in good numbers in population.

However, it is being said that another community is eyeing the MP seat and wants to contest the seat if given the chance. Reports say that the Brahmin community is interested in contesting the MP seat and the community is making the moves to get the ticket.

The Brahmin community has a population size of over two lakhs in the Parliament segment. It is said that a massive meeting will be held to gather support from various corners. On the grounds of the meeting, the community might demand the seat.

It is said that the community is trying hard to see that the community gets the Vizag MP seat from all the parties and the representatives are on the job. Besides the MP seat, it is also said that they are focusing on the MLA seats.

Reports say that other than the MP seat, the community is also demanding MLA seats where it is strong and where it has a good population.

As an example of the strong position Brahmins enjoy in the region, there is a strong demand for the Construction of Parasurama Bhavan which has been going on for a few years. Recently, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao expressed his dissatisfaction over the delay in construction and sought the intervention of the Governor.
