Flight Dropped 27,000 Feet In 7 Minutes: Why Did It Happen?

In the recent past, we have been hearing several cases of air transport accidents and related mishaps. Now we have another addition to the list, and this time, it is the usually reputable British Airways.

Something extremely shocking has happened with regard to a flight belonging to the British Airways, which dropped in altitude all of a sudden, which resulted in passenger distress.

This flight was reportedly travelling from London Heathrow airport to the Chicago airport. This was when the flight underwent something extremely challenging on the technical front.

The aircraft descended from a cruising altitude of approximately 37,000 feet to around 9,000 feet in a short time as the cabin altitude reportedly reached 10,500 feet.

Following the incident, flight BA295 returned to London Heathrow instead of continuing to Chicago. It was reported that the aircraft held at low altitude for a period before landing and then made a safe landing.

British Airways has not yet issued a statement regarding the exact cause of the incident. But this news has already gained the international media attention, and there is a lot of debate happening on the same.

This comes shortly after there was another aircraft incident that happened on a flight bound to Israel, which was ultimately saved by an Indian pilot. People are starting to get concerned about the number of incidence involving air travel, and this could have a negative effect.
