Brother Anil Kumar Says No To Wearing Congress Shawl!

Putting an end to speculations and reports, YS Sharmila who entered Telangana Politics with a lot of expectations finally merged her party into the Congress party. She merged her Telangana Party which was floated two years back into the Grand Old Congress Party. She was inducted into the party.

Sharmila took the Congress Route in the presence of Congress leaders like President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and others. She was presented with a party shawl and formally inducted into the party. Kharge gave her the shawl. During the occasion, one interesting thing happened.

After offering the Congress shawl to YS Sharmila, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge offered the shawl to her husband Brother Anil. To everyone’s surprise, he said no to wearing a Congress shawl.

Even Kharge was shocked for a few seconds. His expression hinted that he felt why he ignored the party shawl. The visuals of Brother Anil Kumar denying the Congress shawl and smiling went viral on social media.

Usually whenever a prominent person joins any party his or her partner also takes the same route. They jointly join the party. But the same was not the case with Brother Anil. Despite Sharmila joining the Congress party, her husband Brother Anil Kumar had different plans.

It looks like Anil doesn't want to be associated with any party. Even when YSR was the Chief Minister he did not join the party. However, Sharmila was also not in active politics back then. Comparing both incidents it is evident that Brother Anil Kumar is not interested in wearing a party shawl.
