Political Parties Income: BRS Is At The Top!
A few MLAs and MPs already left the party for others. Despite this, the BRS is at the top position in one thing.

It is facing a few issues as the leaders are leaving the party at a rapid pace. A few MLAs and MPs already left the party for others. Despite this, the BRS is at the top position in one thing.
The Association for Democratic Reforms which has been working for political reforms for over two decades released a report on the parties which had the highest income among the regional parties for the financial year 2022-23.
BRS is at the top place as it accounts for over 40 percent of the total income the regional parties obtained in the same period as per the observations of the ADR report.
BRS party’s income stood at Rs Rs 737.67 crore in 2022-23. This accounts for 42.38 percent of the total income of the regional parties in the country. TMC, DMK, BJD, and YCP are in the next places on the list.
As per the information BRS received Rs 737.67 crore, while the ruling party in West Bengal TMC received 333.45 crore, DMK(Rs. 214.3 crore),Biju Janata Dal(Rs. 181 crores) and YSRCP(Rs. 74.78 crore) received the next following amounts.
Talking about the expenditure of the parties BRS is not at the top place. TMC is at the top place in this with 37.66 percent, followed by YSRCP(16.49 percent), BRS(11.94 percent), DMK(10.94 percent), and Samajwadi Party(6.53 percent).
It is known that the parties attained income through the controversial electoral bonds. It is no wonder that the National parties had the highest number followed by the regional parties. The issue reached the Supreme Court too.
