It's been a long time since a leader from the South had an impact on national politics. BRS chief KCR wanted to enter the space and show his impact. This is the reason why the party name was changed. While we would have seen BRS being proactive in this area had the party won? But BRS lost the general elections.

The party kept itself busy with the efforts to revive itself after the big defeat. It is said that BRS doesn't have time to focus on the party activities in other states. The party leadership is completely occupied with Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.

With the party focusing only on Telangana party leaders in other wings are worried about their future. As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the Maharashtra wing of BRS wants clarity from KCR on the future of the party in the state.

It is said that the leaders have written to kCR seeking clarity on the party activities. Saying that they were confused about whether the party would continue the activities or not they sought clarity. The leaders also said they have no clarity on what to do next due to lack of clarity.

Media reports say that the Maharashtra wing of BRS wants clarity on whether the party would contest the Lok Sabha polls or not and gave one week for this. If there is no proper response then they might have to look at other options.

BRS actively focused on Maharashtra and a few meetings were also held. KCR even carried out a massive car rally involving hundreds of cars to Maharashtra as part of his efforts to expand the party.

Despite all this, the BRS leaders in the state were confused about the future. With no option left, they had written to the party chief to give clarity on Lok Sabha elections.
