Let alone attacking Revanth, BRS is on defensive over power supply
The BRS hence has not responded to Revanth Reddy even ten days after he has made his sensational allegation.
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 July 2023 6:28 AM GMTHas the BRS plan to corner TPCC chief Revanth Reddy on the issue of eight-hour quality power supply to the farm sector boomeranged? It clearly appears that instead of attacking Revanth Reddy, the party is finding itself on a sticky wicket and is unable to go hammer and tongs against the TPCC chief.
Let alone being put on the defensive, Revanth Reddy has gone on the offensive and said that the state was suffering massive power cuts. He even said that the state was unable to provide even eight hour power supply to the farm sector. He dared the BRS government to make public the log books of various power offices as they contain the details of power outages.
This has flummoxed the BRS. Instead of taking up his challenge, the BRS has withdrawn all the log books from various power offices. The BRS leaders did not come up with any logical explanation with facts and figures to debunk Revanth Reddy's claims. Instead, they resorted to polemics and political criticism.
Meanwhile, the BRS leaders are also finding that the farmers at large are deeply unhappy with the power cuts. Many farmers are openly questioning the irregular power cuts in the state. The BRS hence has not responded to Revanth Reddy even ten days after he has made his sensational allegation.
