Jasprit Bumrah missed the action for many months due to injuries and also missed some events. With this, he became the target of immense trolling and criticism. A few even claimed that that could be the end of his career.
But the speedster proved them all wrong and made a strong comeback. In the Asia Cup and the ongoing World Cup, he breathed fire with fiery deliveries.
Bumrah said that he knew the questions that were raised about his career as his wife Sanjana Ganesan works as a sports presenter. He said that what he heard doesn't matter to him and he is happy with the comeback he made.
"I came back and I realised how much I love playing the game. I was not chasing anything. Great headspace was there when I came back from the injury. So yeah, eventually I'm looking at the positives and trying to enjoy as much as you can," Bumrah said.
India defeated England with a margin of 100 runs and went very close to the semis race. In the next match, India is slated to fight Sri Lanka. With another win, India will almost cement its place in the semis.
