Snowfall Covers California, Everything Comes To Standstill!

Winter in the United States is different from others as the country witnesses snowfall during winter. People living in the coastal areas are habituated to the snowfalls. But the snowfall this time is not like every time with a record snowfall as there are tense scenes.

California has been witnessing a big snowfall. It is said that the cold winds are traveling at a speed of over 72 km per hour. With this people are not stepping out as a safety measure. Keeping it in simple words there is snow everywhere. Everything came to a standstill with the snowfall.

The situation is such that the major portion of the state was covered with snow with almost every service getting suspended. Electricity was also cut due to the snowfall. The concerned officials advised people to not step out of their houses as a safety measure.

Thousands of households were left with no electricity supply. There is no clarity on when the services will be resumed. The snowfall is stopping the authorities from resuming the electricity services.

It is also said that a few highways were closed due to the heavy snowfall. On top of the electricity services suspension, closing the highway caused more trouble for the people. Since last weekend California has been witnessing a steady snowfall. The experts said that the same scenes might continue for a few more days.

The state already witnessed a tough time with the snowfall on the weekend. As if that is not enough the Weather Service said that additional snowfall might be witnessed for a few more days.
