24 First-time Candidates Granted Tickets In TDP's First List!
At last, the parties had a common opinion on seat sharing and the first list of candidates was announced.

With the common aim, they formed an alliance. At last, the parties had a common opinion on seat sharing and the first list of candidates was announced.
As part of the alliance, the Telugu Desam Party received 94 seats while the Janasena was allocated 24 seats. The interesting aspect of the TDP’s candidates list is that as many as 24 new candidates were given tickets. For the first time, they were given tickets to contest the elections.
The candidates who were given tickets had earlier served as Sarpanchs, Corporation Chairman, and ZPTC. There is also a balance in the list. A few candidates who come from political families were also given a ticket. The likes of Rajesh Mahasena, a popular face on YouTube, and Amaravati supporter Kolikipudi Srinivas were also given a ticket.
Looking at the candidates who have a political background, former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu’s daughter was given a ticket. Thoyaka Jagadeeswari was announced as the Kurupam candidate. Her grandfather served as the MLA twice.
