Over the years India has been seeing big heights in Test Cricket. India won two Border-Gavaskar Trophies and came very close to winning a series in England. India’s overseas record in the longest format is getting better and better. Virat Kohli took India to greater heights during his stint and achieved what other skippers could not.

Despite this, there is one thing that India could not achieve which is to win a Test series in South Africa. To achieve the same the Rohit Sharma-led team landed in South Africa. But India did not get the required start and it lost the first test by an innings.

While India could not win the series as it already lost the first Test, Men In Blue could draw the series and put up a strong fight. All eyes are on India to see if they can win the strong bastion of Cape Town.

In the Border Gavaskar Trophy India won the Gabba fortress. Now it looks like India is very close to winning another fortress which is Cape Town. In the second test, Indian Bowlers breathed fire and created a tempo for the team.

Indian bowlers were too good for the South African team as the proteas team was all out for just 55 runs in the first innings. They did not get the hosts to have free arms as they took wickets at regular intervals.

Mohammed Siraj broke the South African back with a 6-wicket haul. This is his first haul in the Test. He is the top wicket-taker. This is the first time that an Indian bowler took six wickets in the first innings.

As South Africa was all out for 55 runs, India has a big scope of winning the Cape Town fortress if everything goes well. If India can put up some good batting performance and follow it with another brilliant bowling performance, then we can win the test in Cape Town which is the first stint for the Indian team.
