By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Jun 2024 7:44 AM GMTYCP often alleges that Chandrababu Naidu won't implement the promises and that the manifesto will not be implemented. Even YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attacked Chandrababu on this and said his party implemented 99 percent of promises and they are not like CBN.
Even after the win and Chandrababu taking oath as Chief Minister the attack did not stop. YCP supporters are already saying that Chandrababu Naidu would not do what he promised and the posts are doing rounds on social media.
But Chandrababu Naidu silenced critics and opponents by signing the file to hike the pensions. It is known that during the campaign Chandrababu Naidu promised to hike the amount of various pensions. After coming to power he shifted his focus to this.
Chandrababu Naidu signed five files after coming to power including hiking the pension amount. As promised earlier the amount was increased to various schemes and the file was signed.
Elders, widows, single women, and others are getting Rs 3000 per month as a pension. The same is increased to Rs 4000. Pension to specially-abled people was hiked by two times to Rs 6000 from the existing 3k. The file was signed and cleared the way for this.
Experts say that it costs a big amount to pay the amount as the pension arrears and the increased amount should be paid to the beneficiaries. Despite the financial burden, the Chief Minister is not taking any backstep.
Observers are saying that Chandrababu Naidu is on the path of implementing the schemes despite the burden. The issue is grabbing everyone’s attention as the file was signed after coming to power.
