Mass Deportation Against Indians! Florida council member facing heat!

The Donald Trump administration in United States has been carrying out multiple deportation activities in the recent past and things are not looking very promising for immigration population.

Florida city council member Chandler Langevin is facing intense criticism after his social media posts called for the mass deportation of Indian immigrants.

Langevin, who represents Palm Bay and was elected last year, accused Indian-Americans of draining American resources and claimed they either return to India or overstay in the US. His comments, shared over several weeks, sparked widespread outrage from residents and advocacy groups.

Dozens of protesters, including members of Indian-American communities, attended council meetings demanding Langevin’s resignation. In response, the Palm Bay City Council voted 3-2 to censure him, condemning his remarks as divisive and unrepresentative of the city’s values.

Mayor Rob Medina stressed that Palm Bay was built on diversity and inclusion, reminding everyone that immigrants have always been part of America’s foundation.

Organizations like Hindus for Human Rights described Langevin’s statements as “racist and dangerous,” warning that tolerance for such rhetoric from elected officials could normalize hate. Both Florida’s Republican and Democratic leaders denounced his behavior, stating that his views did not reflect their parties’ positions.
