When Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and kept in jail Pawan Kalyan announced the alliance. Though the alliance was announced there were a few doubts about whether Janasena would get a good preference.
The likes of Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah also raised the same doubt. Making the doubts true the Janasena was allocated just a small share of seats while the TDP received the major share of seats.
Drawing a comparison between TDP and Janasena, the TDP received 94 seats and Janasena was allocated 24 seats. The Janasena around 25 percent of the total seats announced. Out of 118 seats Janasena received 24 seats.
Many say that TDP might be controlling the Janasena in many aspects and hence small share of seats were allocated. Despite the seats, the Janasena did not announce the list of candidates.
TDP announced the number of seats it would get in the first stage and even the candidates' names were also announced. There is a big contrast with the Janasena party. One is that the party received less number of seats and the candidates were not announced.
Five candidates were announced from the Janasena party and Pawan Kalyan’s name is missing from the list. Usually, the party chief’s name would be mentioned at the top while announcing the candidates. But Pawan Kalyan’s name was not announced.
There is no clarity on Pawan Kalyan’s seat. It is said that Chandrababu Naidu did not give clarity to Pawan Kalyan on this and hence the Janasena party did not make any announcement. Even the party cadre is confused about this.
On top of confusion over Pawan Kalyan’s constituency, there is no clarity on how many seats Janasena would get in the second list. 57 seats are remaining which will be announced soon.
Looking at the first list many say that Janasena might not get preference in the second list as well and the candidates preferred by the TDP would make it to the final list,
