Supreme Court Adjourns Chandrababu's Quash Petition Again!

Chandrababu Naidu who was arrested and sent to jail in connection with the AP Skill Development has been waiting to get relief. It's been one long month since he was sent to a remand. He has been moving the courts to get relief in the case but in vain. His wait for the same is getting bigger and bigger.

Now his wait will continue till Friday as the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing. The Supreme Court heard the arguments of both sides and till afternoon and adjourned the case as other cases were to be heard. The next hearing will happen on Friday and all eyes are on the next hearing.

Supreme Court Lawyer Harish Salve argued on behalf of the TDP boss. It is said that he stressed Section 17 and mentioned the verdicts given in a few cases earlier. He said that Chandrababu Naidu’s name was not mentioned in the FIR and hence a quash petition was filed.

On the other hand, senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi represented the AP CID in the Supreme Court. He said that the CID filed the case only after gathering all the pieces of evidence and said there was no vendetta in this.

After listening to the arguments of both sides, the Supreme Court adjourned the case hearing to Friday and the hearing will take place in the afternoon. Now we have to wait and see what the Court does. If the Court gives any verdict, it will be a big development in the case.

The CID which is probing the matter said a scam is involved in the Skill Development project and the money granted from the government end was diverted. Chandrababu was arrested by the CID amid a high drama and presented before the court. He was sent to the Rajahmundry Central Jail.
