Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department wing earlier last month in connection with the AP Skill Development scam. As per the court directives he was sent to prison and he has been in prison for around two months.

He has been waging a legal battle to get relief from different cases he is facing. The petitions he filed in various courts are pending and all eyes are on the courts to see what verdict they will give.

It looks like Chandrababu Naidu will have no relief as far as the cases are concerned as another case slapped against him. It is said that the Andhra Pradesh CID registered another case against him and the issue goes back to the regime of Chandrababu Naidu.

As per the media reports, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) registered a case against him for granting illegal permission to the liquor companies. After registering a case, Chandrababu Naidu was named A3 in the case.

It is said that the case was filed under the grounds of the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act. Following the procedure, a petition was filed by the investigating agency CID in the ACB Court and the court is said to have given its nod for this.

As the CID petition was approved by the ACB Court, reports say that the agency might arrest him who is now at the Rajahmundry Jail. Though there is no official confirmation on this reports say the same.

Talking about this case, there are allegations that illegal permissions were given to the liquor companies in Andhra Pradesh during the previous government. Based on the same, a case was filed.

The new case marks the fourth case that was registered against Chandrababu Naidu. He already faces the AP Skill Development Scam case, the AP Fibernet case, and the Amaravati Inner Ring Road case. Now another case joined the row.
