Will Chandrababu Attend the Co-ordination Meeting?

The date is fixed for the second co-ordination meeting between Telugu Desam Party and Janasena. It is said that the meeting will be held at the TDP main office in Mangalagiri on the 9th of this month. The first meeting was held on the 23rd of last month at a hotel in Rajahmundry. The second meeting is scheduled in the TDP office.

It is said that six people from both TDP and Janasena will attend the meeting. At the first meeting, they decided to walk together along with the joint activity. The second meeting would focus on preparing the joint manifesto for the elections.

Reports say that they might also decide on contesting elections together in AP. It is said that they would decide on what public issues they should fight. From the TDP side leaders like Yanamala Rama Krishnudu, Pithani Satyanarayana, Nimmala Rama Naidu, Panchumarthi Anuradha, and others might attend the meeting. On Janasena's behalf Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, and others would attend.

The date fixed for the coordination meeting raised interest. Many say that the date might have been fixed for Chandrababu. He cannot attend the meeting in the wake of the restrictions imposed by the court. The verdict on quash petition in the Supreme Court would be out on the 8th of this month. Lawyers representing the Government and the TDP party placed their hot arguments. The verdict was reserved.

Through the lawyers, Chandrababu Naidu placed his arguments that his arrest was illegal and section 17 applies to him. We have to wait and see how the court responds to this. TDP pinned high hopes on the quash petition and it is hoping that the petition would be accepted.

If this happens then none of the cases filed against Chandrababu will stand. No persimmon was taken from the Governor for the arrest. Chandrababu Naidu will be a free bird. He will get an opportunity to prove his innocence. He spent more than 50 days in prison and he can target the YCP.

A positive verdict should be given if all these things have to happen. If this happens he will walk out freely and visit the TDP main office. He can attend the Janasena-TDP Co-ordination meeting and give his inputs. This is the reason why the date was fixed on the 9th say many. We have to wait and see if the TDP will get relief or not.
