After a long wait, Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu was given bail. On health grounds, he was given four weeks interim bail. While giving bail, the High Court imposed a few conditions that Chandrababu Naidu should follow during his bail tenure.

After Chandrababu Naidu was given bail, the investigating agency CID moved the High Court seeking more restrictions on Chandrababu Naidu. However, the Court said no to the request of the agency.

Hearing a petition on Thursday, the High Court reserved its verdict and said the verdict will be given on Friday. Following this, the Court gave the orders and only two directives were given to Chandrababu Naidu on the bail conditions.

The High Court said that Chandrababu Naidu should not participate in political rallies and he should not speak to the media on the case. These were the directives that were imposed by the Court.

On the other hand, the CID requested the High Court to give directives to provide escort to Chandrababu Naidu by two DSPs. However, the High Court said no to this request and said that the previous restrictions would be applied.

The CID filed a petition in the High Court seeking more restrictions on Chandrababu Naidu’s bail. The agency sought directives from the court to not allow him to participate in political rallies and media meetings. As Chandrababu Naidu was granted bail on health grounds, the agency said that he would be restricted to his house and hospital only. However, the High Court asked CBN to not speak to the media and not attend any rallies.

Chandrababu Naidu was given bail by the High Court on health grounds in connection with the AP Skill Development case for four weeks. Hearing a petition filed by the lawyers seeking bail for treatment, he was given relief.
