The last five years were very challenging for TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu. One is that his party recorded the worst performance in its history. Moreover, a few cases were filed against him and former Ministers on various issues. In connection with the alleged irregularities in his tenure, the cases were filed. CBN was even arrested.

However, people are not talking about his cases as Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister. People are discussing how he would develop the state as the Chief Minister and how the government would implement the schemes.

Amid this, a sensational petition was filed in connection with the cases faced by CBN. The petition was filed in the High Court seeking directives to transfer the cases to central agencies ED and CBI for a fair investigation.

Media reports say that a journalist moved the High Court with a petition saying that the cases against the TDP Boss should be transferred to ED and CBI for a fair investigation. 114 people were mentioned as the defendants.

Media reports say that the petitioner in his petition said that the CID office was locked by the DGP a day after the results were out. Alleging that there is no choice of fair investigation in the cases the petitioner sought the transfer.

Chandrababu Naidu faced a few cases in Inner Ring Road, Skill Scam, Liquor Scam, and Fiber Net cases. The CID filed the cases and a few former Ministers also faced the cases. In the alleged Skill Scam Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent to jail. This is the first time he was arrested.

While TDP alleged that the cases were wrongly framed, the then-ruling YCP said due to the wrongdoings he was arrested and sent to jail.
