Winning the elections is a do-or-die situation for the TDP. In the last elections, the Telugu Desam Party recorded the worst performance since its inception and is dealing with a big crisis. If the party has to survive then it has to win the elections. For this, it allied with Janasena and the BJP.

As additional efforts, Chandrababu Naidu also announced schemes. Earlier he promised Rs 4000 under pensions. Not only that he also said that the pensions would be delivered to the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. However, people are said to have no trust in this.

The political observers say that in the villages people are not believing what Chandrababu Naidu said. The reason they are saying that before the last elections he promised many things and nothing happened. His change in words is also another thing here.

Earlier he said such schemes are leaving a heavy impact on the economy and the state would see a lot of troubles. Cut to now he is saying he would continue the schemes and would do more than what Jagan is doing. Chandrababu who questioned the Volunteer system earlier is saying that he would help the Volunteers to upskill themselves.

Considering what happened earlier they are said to be not ready to believe his words. On the other hand, current Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is sending the pension to the house through the Volunteers. Volunteer is the system that was brought to take the benefits of the schemes to the beneficiaries.

Everyone knows how the Volunteers are working and how they are helping the beneficiaries to get the fruits without having to step out of their houses. But there is no clarity on what and how Chandrababu will do. No one can assure that the Volunteer system will be continued and how the schemes will be distributed.
