Chandrababu Big Request To Modi: Sought One Lakh Crore?

The NDA alliance had pulled off a historic performance in the recent elections in Andhra Pradesh. The coalition came to power in the state. Not just that the alliance helped the NDA at the Centre in the wake of BJP falling short of the required magic figure.

Due to the current political picture, the BJP is also giving importance to the TDP. Chandrababu Naidu who became the Chief Minister of the state is focusing on key issues like Amavarati capital, Polavaram project, and others.

The Chief Minister met the big wigs at the Centre including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is said that Chandrababu placed a big request before the PM. If we have to take anything from the media reports CBN asked for one lakh crore.

The Mainstream media said that the massive amount includes funds for Amaravati and Polavaram. Besides this, the CM also requested the Centre to increase the tenure of gathering the debts.

It is said that the CM had a list of requests including the Metro projects and others. In total it costs around one lakh crores and the TDP boss reportedly sought the same from the Centre. As the BJP is taking the support of the TDP it has to make sure that TDP won't get angry.

AP is dependent on the Centre funds due to the financial situation. If the Centre can grant the funds then it would be a big helping hand to the state. However, this might not be easy as Bihar is also demanding either special status or special funds. Let us wait and see what happens in this.
