The much-awaited moment for the grand old Telugu Desam Party and its leaders and supporters arrived with the release of Chandrababu Naidu. After spending more than 50 days in the Prison, the former Chief Minister was allowed to walk out for a brief period. He was granted an interim bail on the health grounds.

While giving bail, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh imposed some conditions like two sureties and a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh. The other day Chandrababu Naidu was released from jail. With this, the debate had started on who gave the sureties for the TDP boss.

Former Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and ex-MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao came forward to give surety to the former Chief Minister. They arrived at the concerned Court.

After reaching there, they submitted their sureties and paid Rs one lakh each. It is said that two were asked some questions by the Judge.

It is said that the Judge asked them are they aware of whom they were giving surety and how much they paid as bond. In response, they told the judge that they gave surety to Chandrababu Naidu and paid Rs one lakh each. Later the TDP boss was given the bail.

The High Court gave interim bail to Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday on health grounds. As he should go for an eye surgery he was granted four weeks bail. On top of that, a few conditions were also imposed that should be followed by the former Chief Minister.

While Chandrababu Naidu was coming out there were massive crowds to welcome him. His family members, key party leaders, and supporters gathered outside the Rajahmundry Central Jail to welcome their leader.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the CID in September in connection with the AP Skill Development Scam. Alleging that he had a role in the scam, he was arrested and sent to the remand.
