Viral Moment: Chandrababu Turns Emotional At Amaravati!

The good days are back for Amaravati, the proposed capital city of Andhra Pradesh. With the Telugu Desam Party in power, the work is going on already. Even before the government took charge, JCBs were sent to clear the bad plants. Amaravati people broke into celebrations with the alliance winning in the elections.

Chandrababu Naidu visited Amaravati in the capacity of a Chief Minister after coming to power for the first time. He visited the Praja Vedika which was demolished by the previous government and from there he went to Amaravati.

It was an emotional moment for Chandrababu Naidu to visit the spot where the foundation stone was laid for the capital city. He bowed down before the spot and did a Sashtanga Namaskaram which is a traditional way of bowing down. People gathered in big numbers on the occasion.

Uddandarayunipalem is the site where the foundation stone was laid for the capital city. CM Chandrababu Naidu visited the site and inspected the construction works. He asked the concerned officials about the status of the work.

Amaravati is the brainchild of Chandrababu Naidu. When Andhra Pradesh was left with no capital city Amaravati was picked as capital. The locals gave land for the capital city and land was pooled. A few buildings were constructed in the Amaravati region as quarters.

However the construction was stopped for five years which made the region a deserted place. Now TDP wants to change the status quo. TDP is putting in serious efforts to give the capital city a good shape.
