The Indian Government has released the list of recipients for the Padma Awards for 2024. As many as 132 recipients were selected for one of the highest civilian awards. It was a special moment for the Telugu people as three people were selected for the Padma awards.
Megastar Chiranjeevi and former Indian Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu were selected for the Padma Vibhushan award. Both personalities are veterans in their respective fields and saw great heights with their hard work. Both Chiranjeevi and Venkaiah Naidu are widely respected.

The two met recently. Chiranjeevi presented a flower bouquet to Venkaiah Naidu and presented him with a shawl. In response, Venkaiah Naidu also presented him with a shawl.
