Festival Celebrations Missing In Jesus Birthplace For Christmas!

Christmas is a festival that is celebrated across the globe. As today marks the big festival, celebrations started since the late hours of Sunday. Religious places across the world were decked up for the festival with the arrangements. A few enthusiasts became Santa Claus to help the needy.

When such is the situation everywhere, we can imagine at what tune the celebrations would be in Bethlehem in the Capital of Israel, Jerusalem. The place that is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Jesus always sees massive celebrations for the festival.

However, the reality was different and there is no festive mood in Bethlehem. No one would have predicted that such a day would come when the streets would be empty with no arrangements for the festival. The hotels and restaurants were also empty.

The war between Israel and Hamas is the reason behind the missing celebrations in Bethlehem. Given the tense situation, the celebrations were canceled. The decision had a lasting impact on the city and streets. Even the markets are empty.

Manger Square sees big crowds every year for the festival with streets getting decorated. People across the world will land there to witness the celebrations. Sadly the situation was different this year with the war scare. Santas and Christmas trees would be in the town as part of the celebrations every year.

The churches that are supposed to see massive celebrations and big crowds as usual are now empty. In an unexpected event, the birthplace of Jesus Christ could not escape the impact of the Israel-Hamas war.
