These insects typically grow inside the land till they turn adults. After a particular time, they come out. While one breed comes out of the land every 13 years, the other one comes out every 17 years. However, we might see a rare possibility.

The experts say that the two types of insects might come out at the same time. After 221 years, the possibility would happen as two types of insects will come out at the same time. A similar scene would take place after 421 years. The last time the types of insects came out in America was in the 2000s. However, they came separately. But the situation would be different this time.

After turning adults the Cicadas come out of the earth in search of food and mating. They pass through several states and people wonder if the flow of Cicadas would damage the crops in these states. A few states were reportedly given directives to be cautious and people were asked to be aware of the Cicadas flow.
